I get this feeling every year about this time. I’m sure you do to.
It’s the warmer temperatures. The sun shining down. The snow melting. Being able to roll down the car window without an arctic blast hitting me in the face. Hearing birds chirping outside. In short, it’s spring.
Every time I experience the change from winter to spring I am reminded of another thing: God keeps his promises. Every year there are four seasons. Spring follows winter which follows fall which in turn follows summer. It’s the same year after year.
Everything that spring brings with it is a reminder that God is good. That although the seasons change, He never does. He changes times and seasons (Daniel 2:21). He always keeps his promises (Numbers 23:19). Above all, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8).
That is great news for us! We all change, we break promises, we fail, but He never does. And for that I will praise Him.
